(NY), Miramax/Hyperion, [2003]. An advance reading excerpt of the first American edition, printing Chapter One. Signed by Amis. This novel was the subject of considerable controversy when it was given a prominent, scathing and, many thought, over-the-top review in the British press upon publication, which was followed by a similar review in The New York Times when the book was published here. Fine in stapled wrappers. [#915802] $20
