About Us

We deal in rare books, specializing in modern literature, association copies, nature writing, the stories of women, Native American literature, the literature of war and protest, and the archives of authors, artists, and activists.

Ken is a former President of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America. We maintain an office in Hadley, Massachusetts and welcome visitors by appointment.

We are always interested in buying rare books, manuscripts, or related material in any of our areas of specialty and are happy to hear from anyone offering such items to us. We are also happy to advise our active customers on building their collections.

We are a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America (ABAA), the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB), Southern New England Antiquarian Booksellers (SNEAB), and the Independent Online Booksellers Association (IOBA).

Terms

  • All books are First Editions or First American Editions in dust jackets unless otherwise noted and are returnable within 30 days.
  • Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Visa are accepted.
  • Institutions can be billed.
  • Massachusetts residents please add 6.25% sales tax.
  • All items are subject to prior sale.

Shipping

Domestic shipping is free. Shipping to Canada is $20 for the first book and $10 for each additional book. Shipping outside of the U.S. and Canada is $25 for the first book and $15 for each additional book.
