1990. An autograph wedding greeting to longtime friend Nelson Lyon, crafted on a Lou Beach collaged image. Lyon was responsible for getting Southern a job on Saturday Night Live in the 1980s when Southern was hard-pressed for both money and paying work, and he directed and co-produced, with SNL music director Hal Wilner, Southern's spoken word CD, "Give Me Your Hump."
