Ballard, Thomas Disch, Frederick Pohl, Roger Zelazny, Michael Moorcock, and others. Edited by Harry Harrison and Brian Aldiss, with a 12-page introduction by Aldiss. Aldiss, in addition to being a science fiction writer is also a historian of the field, with his book Billion Year Spree being the standard history of the field up to the early 1970s. Faint foredge foxing; near fine in a near fine dust jacket. The least common title in this series, especially in the original hardcover edition.
