The memoir of Dr. Withington, who graduated from Elizabeth Blackwell's Women's Medical College of the New York Infirmary in 1887; opened a medical and surgical practice in Massachusetts; served as a Red Cross physician in France during WWI; and eventually became a rural doctor in the mountains of Kentucky. This copy is inscribed by Withington. Foxing to the pages edges and endpages; a near fine copy, lacking the dust jacket.
