Note that the publisher was initially the Committee for Nuclear Information, then the Committee for Environmental Information, then the Scientists' Institute for Public Information, changes that mirrored the publication's widening scope, from nuclear issues to air and water pollution, recycling, pesticides, land use, and alternative energy.
