This edition was abridged and edited by Hugh Ford. Includes work by Langston Hughes, Zora Neale Hurston, W.E.B. DuBois, Arna Bontemps, and Samuel Beckett (as translator), among many others. 464 pages, gathered in 16 signatures. 9-1/2" x 12-1/4". Foxing to the outer pages and edges; near fine. Scarce format.
