Theodore Roosevelt
NY, Century Association, 1919. A compilation of five memorial addresses and two letters delivered to the Century Association in New York in February, 1919, the month following Roosevelt's death. Burroughs' contribution is a six-page letter honoring Roosevelt's character and his skills as a naturalist, and the friendship between the two. This letter was first published as an essay in the magazine Natural History. Hardbound, without dust jacket (as issued?). Some spotting to boards and foxing to endpages; a very good copy.
