NY, Funk & Wagnall's, 1886. A novel by the noted temperance worker and advocate for women's suffrage. Signed by Perkins, with the added sentiment, "Don't marry a man to save him," which is the theme of the novel. With the ownership signature (three times) of Nessie Brown, of Wesleyan College.
