Inscribed by the author to Peter Matthiessen. With a typed letter signed from Davis to Matthiessen laid in, mostly relaying environmental victories in the Cassiar Mountains of British Columbia. The letter is folded, else fine. The book is lightly foxed on the edges of the text block; near fine in a fine dust jacket.
