West Pac '64
Boston, Branden Press, (1975). Personal account by a Navy doctor who was serving in the Western Pacific in 1964, and who took part in the battle of the Tonkin Gulf. The author's introductory note explains that he wrote most of the book shortly after the events occurred, in 1964 and 1965, then re-edited the book into its final form in 1970. With a full-page inscription by the author, in part: "West Pac is a whole lot funnier than I am right now." Very good in a very good dust jacket with internal tape mends. [#031206] SOLD
