The Corn is Green
NY, Random House, (1941). A play about a woman who sets up a school in a Welsh mining town. The play, with Ethel Barrymore, and the movie, with Bette Davis, were both highly praised. Williams was primarily known as an actor, and his career in the movies spanned six decades, from the early 1930s to the mid-1980s. Pencil markings in text making this a working copy (apparently belonging to someone playing either Miss Ronberry or Miss Moffat); near fine in a near fine dust jacket. [#015765] SOLD
