[Syracuse], (Syracuse University), May 1930. Bowles, listed as a guest author from the University of Virginia, contributes a three-page essay on poetry entitled "Blue Vowels." There is also a biographical paragraph listing his previous appearances in print in the U.S., in Mexico, in Belgium, in France, and in Monaco, and saying that he is planning to establish a magazine of his own in 1931.
