Glancy's first several publications were chapbooks that she published herself, first as the Hadassah Press, and then as the MyrtleWood Press: Hadassah is the Hebrew word for Myrtle, the author's grandmother's name. Published the same year as Drystalks of the Moon, Clearing Ghostlaw's Field would be either her second or third book, by our estimations.
