The Collected Stories of Peter Taylor
NY, Farrar Straus Giroux, (1969). A collection by an author whose reputation was built largely on the strength of his stories and who won, in the last years of his life, both the Pulitzer Prize and the PEN Faulkner Award. Reviewed in Newsweek by Geoffrey Wolff, to whom this copy belonged. With Wolff's ownership signature a handful of Wolff's marginal comments and markings. Mottling to boards, some play to the text block; a very good copy in a good, sunned and (coffee) stained dust jacket with moderate edge wear. [#029005] $100
