This copy belonged to the writer Geoffrey Wolff and bears his underlinings and marginal comments throughout, with a three point critique on the verso of the front flyleaf. Wolff reviewed books for Newsweek, The Washington Post and many other publications over the years, and tended to make his notes right in the books he read for review.
